How do I use an ANT device?

Hi everyone,
I use Trainer road on my Apple I -phone with Assioma pedals (dual side), however, it doesn’t connect with my Garmin HR monitor (Garmin 935). I would really like to merge all of my data including power, and HR. How do I use an ANT device? Does it plug into my phone? or do I simply have it near my HRM? Which ANT device is best to get for this? Thanks!

I do not use an iOS device. However, I believe the following doc answers your question:

IOS does not natively support Ant communication.
