How much rest to take after an a race

I’ve just finished my winter a race and massively out performed anything I could have hoped for thankyou tr uni track champs got a 3:30 for 3k persuit and a top 10 in the 30 k points for a rodie I was very happy with this. But the week before I tapered and now I feel as if I haven’t trained in a week as the volume over the race weekend was still low. Should I force myself back on the bike or just chill and wait till I want it again. Any advixe would be amazing

I would chill for a few days, enjoy a bit of time off the bike. It will be good for you mentally. When you are ready to get back on the bike, it will be waiting for you.
