I smoked on and off in my 20s and was sort of smoking before I started on TR (it’s a great way to quit, btw, if they’re curious to try).
The smoke can be irritating when you’re on the bike, for sure. Maybe see if they can at least smoke outside while you’re on the bike and a bit before. Unless you’re in a position in the household to set rules (ie. you pay the rent), I would look for compromise before trying to start a revolution.
