New surface for the paincave

Hi all I’m guessing Equipment is the nearest category here…

My garage keeps flooding so I’m putting in better drainage, and have to empty it to dry everything out…so I’m thinking of resurfacing the floor which is old crumbling concrete.

Anything to bear in mind, or is a relatively smooth concrete surface all that’s needed?

Cheers.

I put down cheap horse stall mats that I got from Tractor Supply. Gives a bit of cushion and minimizes the trainer from moving around (more friction than just concrete).

I did this a couple years ago. Really happy with it. Very easy to clean and looks as good today as it did when it was installed. Lots of colors to choose from and install took just two days.
