Recommended Air Pressure for Tubeless Tires/Road Bike

Hi- I’m looking for air pressure recommendations. I’m running Schwalbe Pro 1 25mm tubeless on my new road bike. This is my first time tubeless. I weigh 119 lbs. thank you!

Too many variables to consider including riding style, road types, etc. Experiment. I will say, from my experience and dealing with others most run way more pressure than is optimal or required. I try to run my bikes at the lowest pressure that won’t roll tire or strike the rim during normal riding. Naturally there are objects in the road we can’t account for so it’s finding the balance that works for you. Lots of information exists on the interwebs related to tire pressure, start low, and work your way up.

Thank you for the reply. I’ll look at the link.

ENVE posted some pressure recommendations. I don’t see a direct link, but it’s at the bottom of the page for various wheels, like here:

You weigh the same as me and I run the same tires. Depending on how wide the internal rim width is, you can go down to 55-60psi if running the HED Plus rims. On normal rims, I run them between 60-70psi.

Awesome thanks! I believe they are the Roval CLX 50s. They came with the bike…
I’ll try 60-70 to start. I’m so excited!

I just looked up the spec of your wheels–the inner width is virtually the same as the HED Plus wheels, so, I would try for 60psi. Since they are carbon wheels, you may want to add a few more psi if you are riding on bad roads with pot holes.
