Ride Photos / Action Shots!

Hi. I really liked it; coming from Manitoba where it is pancake flat, it was quite different. I found that pacing with my power meter helped, and after finishing I thought that I could have gone a bit harder. The grade wasn’t too bad and there is a nice stretch
around the 19 km mark when it gets flatish and you can make up time. I did have to stop at the parking lot 1km from the top because the road was closed due to grizzly sightings. If you are around the area it is definitely worth it.

Are trainer sessions allowed?

This is to remind me why I need to drink more fluids.

Where is that?

That JAM Cycling kit looks sweet!

Abingdon (Oxfordshire). The races are held on an old airfield at Dalton Barracks.

Getting a pork pie hand up during a 12 hour MTB race - after nothing but gels it was heavenly!
