Looking at starting SSB mid volume shortly and was going to fit in my Sunday club ride which is usually about 250 tss and 3.5 to 4 hours.

Should I be looking at also dropping the Saturday workout to keep the overall weekly tss in line with the plan, or maybe doing a shorter workout on Saturday.

I am well into the masters category so conscious of overloading with too much tss.

Both options are viable, it’s probably going to depend on how your body copes come your following Tuesday workout.

Perhaps try dropping the big Saturday one and replace it with a repeat of your Wednesday workout or similar, at high cadence to keep the legs fresh for your club run? If you’re weary come the Tuesday you can then decide whether to remove the Saturday ride completely.
