Why are the swim sets so kick heavy, and the kicking is at the end of the sets?
I haven’t seen tri swim set up like this before.
I’m doing Olympic base.

I don’t think they’re super kick heavy, it’s only about 200m worth of kicking/workout. I like getting to the kick sets because it means I’m nearly done
Cheers. Maybe just my perception from limited experience. The kicking kills me.
I often use zoomers for them. I’m guessing they’re meant to be challenging since the recovery weeks drop the kick sets.
They don’t allow zoomers at my pool, otherwise I would be all over these kick drills!
