Take a break rules...?

New to TrainerRoad, however not new to training or cycling

However, I wondered if the recommendation should be to take a week off between finishing SSB before going on to the general build or speciality…?

Or does it depend on how I’m feeling mentally?

The plans are generally designed to roll from one directly into next. The last week of SSB is already a rest/recovery week. You shouldn’t need to take an additional week off beyond what is already in the plan, unless you’re really feeling run down.

All the blocks taper off and you should be able to roll right into the next one.
