TR RAMP Test & VO2 Max

:grimacing: seems like a long time extra for Small increment!

Could you score higher on the ramp test if you started it at a higher predicted FTP?

For example holding 300 watts for a minute might be more manageable after 10 minutes of ramping in your legs rather than after 20 minutes.

Apparently the guys tested at varied FTP levels. They said it doesn’t matter much and you should get reasonably close results either way.
