How do you like the Emonda? What kind of riding do you use it for?

That year/color Defy is still my favorite. I keep hoping one will pop up on ebay or something.

Haha Thanks @firemunki !

I love my Emonda, I find it to be very comfortable. I’m always surprised at how compliant it is over small cracks in the road. I’m also stoked that it built up to just about 15 lbs with pedals given that I didn’t put much money into it.

As far as what I use it for, I don’t race road so it’s mostly just for long training rides, riding on my rollers/trainer, and attacking Strava KOMs. This thing feels like a rocket ship going up short punchy climbs compared to my other bikes.

The Rose…cheap and German!

I got lucky. I wasn’t planning to spend that much but it was still a year closeout. I love this bike.

I know I’m late to the game here, but how do you like that Fuji?

Just got the Tri Bike. A 2008 Felt S32. I’ve done a lot of upgrades over the past year. Completely replaced the frontend. New cranks etc. I love the wheels for their versatility. Just wish I had the deeper 78/twentyfours from Profile Design, but I got the 58’s for a steal so I’m happy with them.

This is at Powerman Zofingen this year

I like it, I’m a tall, heavy rider at 75 inches and 210 pounds. It does everything I want it to do for now. In the distant future I will be upgrading to a more integrated bike but for now, this is doing everything I ask it to do. For the price point it was a no brainer. Since I bought it, I’ve upgraded to Di2, the seat and wheels, but that what most people would upgrade anyway.

I have the same Emonda. I agree, I feel like when I’m in group rides or in a race people deploy a parachute when going up hills with this bike.

Plan on getting some compact gearing for a few hill climb challenges in 2019.
