Cannondale makes those stands. I don’t know what they are called. And yes, they make it so your bike doesn’t tip over.

I travel to China and Taiwan 3-4x a year for work so I built myself a crit bike with couplers.
My shop mate painted it (paint details here: Custom Bicycle Fabrication on Instagram: "I didn’t quite get what @luciusparrdesigns was describing but I told him to do it anyways. . . This isn’t something I’d come up with and that’s really effing exciting! Hopefully it’ll stop raining long enough to clear and make it down to CABDA. . . . . . #elysianbikeco #custombike #custom #framebuilder #handpainted #custompaint #adventure #bicycle #roadbike #bikeporn #cyclinglife #losangeles #velo #handmade #mtb #gravelbike #racebike #cyclinglife #strava #mondaymotivation")!

It’s replacing a Ritchey Road Logic. (bigger diameter tubing and slightly more aggressive geometry). It RAILS downhill

So rad! Having it fit in a standard bag like that is so nice!

This is incoming - just final fit adjustments to do.

How do you like the Pro Vibe Bars? Seriously considering a set on my new build

I got a 2017 Vitus Zenium SLR Ultegra disc this time last year for the crazy cheap price of £1100, down from £1800 iirc.

Helps that I really like the styling as well.

Had no problems with it at all and the spec is great for the money. Heavy wheels though, that’d be the one thing I’d change.

Is it sl version? Can you give me some impressions?? How does it climb? What about the weight? I can’t decide between aeroad (105 or ultegra SL version) and ultimate sl version on ultegra.

Yes its the SL version. I wanted disk brakes but annoyingly it wasn’t available in this colour unless you went full Di2 and was an extra £1200

I cant comment on climbing im afraid as i live in the flattest part of the UK and my biggest climb here is about 10m gain!! But its light and very fast…i cannot wait until the weather warms up!

I don’t know how much you intend to climb but if you watch pro-racing the Movistar and Katusha riders are regularly on Canyon Ultimates - as lighter and handles better.

Yes, I know that  I’ve got the old Ultimate SL. But the Aeroad…hmmm…I love the beauty of the frame. And now, when I’m looking for a new bike, I thought maybe the aeroad is good enough for this job too.
I live in a flat area but every weekend (during the season) I spend in mountains. I race only mountain races and every year I spend at least 4 weeks in The Alps, Pyrenees or other area full of epic climbing. There is one more bike I’m considering: Specialized Tarmac Comp/Expert but in terms of value/money Canyon is just undefeated.

Massive stem on your Epic. Does it throw the handling out?? Quicker steering. ??

No clue, but I like it. That size is standard on the xl epic.

How do you rate the Hunt rims?? Quite tempted by the Aero 50’s

I’m too big to be a seriously competitive rider but I have 2 sets and i’d Put them up against The Reynolds Assaults I had on my previous bike. Stronger and lighter than the price would suggest.

Just bought this “blemished” 2019 Madone on special.
