Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if a world class type Triathlete would fare up against a world class type Time Trial specialist…say over the course of 40k? TT bike specific FTP comparisons between the two? Always wondered this…
For a world-class TT specialist, Alex Dowsett is at around 400W at ~80kg in TT position (410-420W in road position)
For world class Ironman triathletes, I’ve heard something like 4.6-4.8 W/kg for 75-80kg riders.
