Ultimate limit of human endurance found

Having mulled it over, I’m wondering if there is some relevance in year long training.

Some of us do train year round, so perhaps taking into account 2.5x bmr in the planning might lead to greater consistency and fewer failures?

I’m still skeptical that a limit has been found, but it does strike me that if we think we’re following a reasonable plan that is actually stretching the limits of what is achievable perhaps alterations should be made.

Yes, been saying above that I do wonder if there is a relation to overtraining. Most events aren’t long enough to reach those timespans, but its easy to keep pushing for months in training.
