Hunter (3x20 @ 88, 92, 89%) crushed it! HR topped off at 157, which for me is great, over 160 is really threshold area for me.

My very first Threshold workout.
Made me feel like a teenagerâŚI hated my bike, I hated my shoes, I hated my saddle, I hated the workout, I hated my positionâŚANGST! Good thing I had Sia and Motorhead to get me through those rough times.
Did first 4 at 100%/105rpm, last 3 at 98%/90rpm.
Interesting that THR intervals are still nowhere near as painful as Over/UndersâŚI hate you, lactic acid!
p.s. â I now understand why people prefer polarized training over ss/threshold training.
