What workout did you do today? (2018/2019)

Ride Tunemah! :frowning:

Just done Leconte, really hating these Saturday 90 minute killers! What’s even worse is Mary Austin is now only a week away!

On a rest week so Collins plus 1. Nearly as nice as Petit (is there a better feeling than looking at the plan and realising have Petit is today!)

Wondering this as well…

Donner started at 06:28! Don’t normally do early morning rides but this was good.

Taku. Coming back from a short but intense cold, so not willing to take any risks.

Similar to this one from an actual race this past summer

Gotta ask – doesn’t look like you’re using erg so how do you hit those burst targets so perfectly?!

I do all of my workouts in erg with power match on

Hunter (3x20 @ 88, 92, 89%) crushed it! HR topped off at 157, which for me is great, over 160 is really threshold area for me.

I also imbibed a fair amount of whiskey last night… But hung in for 4 of the 5 intervals from Palisade

If I didn’t have to go to a Bday part at 11, I might have attempted all 6. Time to add one to the excuses thread.

Truuli -1, I’ve a regional championship CX race tomorrow, so a light opener only today. I’m trying to avoid getting lapped by the big boys.

I call this one “I came in like a wrecking ball” (good luck not singing that in your head for the rest of the day. You’re welcome  ) I cut the cooldown short because I was gassed.

Wilhelm +5.

My very first Threshold workout.
Made me feel like a teenager…I hated my bike, I hated my shoes, I hated my saddle, I hated the workout, I hated my position…ANGST! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Good thing I had Sia and Motorhead to get me through those rough times.

Did first 4 at 100%/105rpm, last 3 at 98%/90rpm.
Interesting that THR intervals are still nowhere near as painful as Over/Unders…I hate you, lactic acid!

p.s. – I now understand why people prefer polarized training over ss/threshold training.
