Just a bit of a fun question for a Friday.

What would happen if all you did was the Ramp Test 5 out of 7 days for 8 weeks?



You’d probably be very good at doing the ramp test and nothing else :slight_smile: Haha
I’d like to hear what others think.

For example in rowing, there are indoor competitions of 100, 500, 1K, 2K meters. Those who score well in 100 or 500m do not perform that well over 2K distance and 2K+ competitors do not have the ultimate raw power to perform well in 100 or 500m challenges. I guess, it depends what goals are.


You’d climb a lot of steps…


Would you do them all at a consistent FTP setting or do you constantly change your FTP setting based on the results of the most recent test?


Good question - let’s say that it’s a test and you adjust your FTP after every ride.



I’d have a lot more free time on my hands if I was only doing 25 minutes a day!
